Arvamus:
Ma ei hakka midagi välja kirjutama. liig masendav. Selline... vastik kurbuse ja tühjuse tuli peale. Kogu lugemise aja.
Raamat oli lühike. Ses suhtes oleks võind pikem olla, et ss oleks Simon kauem elanud. Aga mulle meeldis Nate'i jutustamine. Suutis asja lustlikult vaadata.

Kuid ta leiab tröösti regulaarsetes randevuudes Luke Costelloga -- mehega, kes kannab liibuvaid nahkpükse -- ja tuju tõstvatest uimastitest.
Ühel hetkel pöördub aga maailm pea peale ja Rachel avastab, et ta eskorditakse kliinikusse ravile. Ta on maruvihane. Ta pole ju piisavalt kõhn, et olla narkomaan!
Naist tervitavad võõrutusravil oodatud rokistaaride ja mullivannide asemel hoopis matsakad keskealised mehed ning rühmateraapia, mida saab oksendamiseni nii söögi alla kui ka peale. Mis veelgi hullem, Rachelilt oodatakse koguni, et ka tema võtaks sellest osa. Aga kes tahab pöörata pilgu enda sisse, kui pilt, mis sealt vastu vaatab, on mõranenud ja katki?!
See romaan on ühtaegu nii teravalt masendav kui ka sügavalt südantliigutav, olles samas veel tõeliselt humoorikas.

"John Joe," ütles Josephine, võttes kooliõpetaja tooni. "Sa pead aru saama üht. Sa oled sama haige kui su saladused. Sa jood seni, kuni elad vales. Ja kui sa joomist maha ei jäta, siis sured. Õige varsti."
Õudne värk.

Muidugi jäid Rachel ja Luke kokku. -.- Luke on kena nimi.
Mulle meeldis see muutus, mille ma Racheliga läbi/kaasa teha sain. Justkui oleksin ise Rachel olnud.
Va see uimastiprobleem.

Sisu: Dursleyd käitusid sel suvel nii vastikult ja alatult, et Harry Potter ihkas kogu südamest tagasi Sigatüüka Nõiduse ja Võlukunsti Kooli. Aga just siis, kui Harry oma kohvreid pakkis, sai ta hoiatuse kummaliselt olevuselt, kelle nimi oli Dobby ja kes ütles, et Harry naasmine Sigatüüka kooli põhjustab hirmsa õnnetuse.
Ja õnnetusi on tõesti tulemas. Harry teine õppeaasta Sigatüükas toob kaasa uusi katsumusi ja õudusi, nagu näiteks ülimalt edev mustade kunstide vastase kaitse õpetaja Gilderoy Lockhart, vaim nimega Mäuguv Myrtle, kes kummitab tütarlaste pesuruumis, ja Roni õe Ginny varjamatu jumaldav suhtumine.
Kõik need aga jäävad tagaplaanile, kui koolis hakkavad toimuma saladuslikud sündmused ja keegi või miski hakkab õpilasi kiviks muutma. Kas see võib olla Draco Malfoy, Harry vana võistleja? Või on süüdlane hoopis Hagrid, kes kunagi mingi patu pärast koolist välja heideti? Ja kuidas õnnestub Harryl tõestada, et see ei olnud tema ise, nagu paljud õpilased kahtlustavad?

"Mis meil täna pärastlõunal on?" küsis Harry kiiresti teemat vahetades.
"Kaitse mustade jõudude vastu," ütles Hermione kohe.
"Miks," nõudis Ron tema tunniplaani krahmates, "oled sa kõikide Lockharti tundide ümber südamed joonistanud?"

Sest kirjanikul jääb kõik meelde, Paul. Eriti see, mis haiget teeb. Kisu kirjanikul riided seljast, osuta armidele ja ta räägib sulle igaühe saamisloo. Suurtest armidest saavad nad romaani, mitte amneesia. On hea omada natuke annet, kui sa kirjanik tahad olla, aga ainuke nõue on see, et tuleb iga armi saamislugu mäletada.
Kunst koosneb mälu püsivusest.

"Kuidas ta süda lööb! Kuidas ta võitleb, et minema pääseda! Nagu meiegi, Paul. Nagu meiegi. Me arvame, et teame nii palju, aga tegelikult ei tea me rohkem kui lõksu jäänud rott, rott, kellel on selg murtud ja kes arvab, et suudab ikkagi ellu jääda."

Loomulikult satub Harry taas sündmuste keerisesse, kus talle on abiks truud sõbrad Ron ja Hermione.

Katkendid:

"Ginnyle annavad vanemad vennad eeskuju, ema," ütles Percy väärikalt. "Ma lähen õhtusöögiks riideid vahetama..."
Ta kadus ja George ohkas.
"Me üritasime teda püramiidi kinni panna," ütles ta Harryle. "Aga ema nägi meid:

"KÜLMKÜMMEND-NULL! SAITE NÜÜD, IGAVESED ILGED, ALATUD-"
"Jordan, kui sa ei oska erapooletult kommenteerida...!"

Läheb paremaks! :) Lugemine käib ruttu. Endiselt jättis häirituks Vingerja põgenemine.

Arvamus: Nomh... suutsin lõpuks raamatu ära kuulata. Aga seetõttu pole ka ühtegi lõiku kirja panna.
Ei tekitanud sõltuvust, oli kohati igavgi. Vb sp, et ma teadsin, mis tuleb. True Blood on peaaegu 1-1 maha tehtud.

Sisu: Harry neljas õppeaasta ei kujune sugugi vähem seiklusrikkaks kui eelmised. Mustad jõud tõstavad uuesti pead ning esmakordselt ilmneb see lendluudpalli maailma karikavõistluste ajal.
Harryl pole aga palju aega selle peale mõelda, sest ka Sigatüüka koolis hakkavad toimuma põnevad sündmused. Kolme suurema võlurite kooli kasvandikud peavad panema proovile oma oskused ja nutikuse ning võitjat ootab ahvatlev auhind.
Muidugi tegutsevad edasi kõik eelmistest raamatutest tuttavad tegelased, aga neile lisaks tuleb veel mitmeid värvikaid kujusid.

Katkendid:

Aga Ron vaatas Hermionet, nagu näeks ta teda äkitselt hoopis uues valguses. "Hermione, neville'il on õigus - sa o l e d tüdruk..."

Hermione seisis sappa otse kahe mehe taha, kes vaidlesid ägedalt. Üks neist oli väga vana võlur, kellel oli seljas pikk lilleline öösärk. Teine oli ilmselt ministeeriumi võlur, sest ta hoidis käes peene triibuga pükse ja oli ärritusest nutma puhkemas.

Katkendid:

Ta langes oktoobris 1918, ühel päeval, mil kogu rindel oli nii vaikne ja rahulik, et sõjasõnum piirdus ainult lausega: Läänerindel muutuseta.
Ta oli ettepoole vajunud ja lamas maas justkui magaks. Kui teda selili keerati, nähti, et ta ei olnud kaua vaevelnud - ta näol oli nii tasane ilme, nagu oleks ta peaaegu rahul, et see niimoodi juhtus.

Imelik oli kõigepealt mõista, kui elujõus poiss Paul oli... ja siis ta surmast lugeda. Ebaloogiline... Kati surm oli ka suht šokk.
Üldse see, kuidas seal kõik toimis... See hetk kui sulle jõuab kohale, et vastane on ka pereisa või äsja koolipingist tõusnud või veel rohkem hirmul kui sina...
