Minu arvamus: Igatahes J.K.Rowlingule jääb tema jutustamisoskus alla. Tegu oli rohkem oma ideede jagamise kui mingi loo jutustamsiega. Ta oli tahtnud ikka kõike oma teooriaid ja ideid seletada. Tema Ameerika päritolu kumas nähtavalt läbi.
Mis ideed tal siis olid? Noh, ta tõi tunniplaani tehnomancy, mis oli siis science of the magic. Huvitav, üritab maagiat teaduse abil seletada. Mis kõige intrigeerivam, ta tõi mängu grupi, kes protesteeris Harry Potteri võidu vastu- Progressive Element, PE. Pm nad uskusid et Lord Tom Riddle oli selline hea ja tore hipi, kes soovis kõigile head ja oli lihsalt väga uuendusmeelne, kuid vanad kännud, kes uuendust ei tatnud, tembeldasid ta kurjaks. Lühidalt: lugege, kui soovite mingeid ideid ja seletusi ja uuendusi HP maailmas, aga mingit põnevat lugemiselamust sealt eriti ei saa. MA siiski üritan teist osa ka lugeda.

Minu arvamus: Kõlab põnevalt, onju? Ma olen kohutavalt suurt Vana-Egiptuse fänn, ma olen ise alati unistanud arheoloogiks saades Egiptusele spetsialiseeruda (pool unistust täidetud- arheoloogiks ma saan). Kuid miski mind selle loo juures häirisid. Kuigi tegeleastele olid üliägedadvõimed antud ja Bast, kassjumalus, pani nendega ringi, meeldis mulle Riordani Percy Jacksoni seeria palju rohkem. Tegelase iseloomud olid liiga stereotüüpsed. Nüüd a näen, mis juhtub, kui peategelasele ebameeldivaid jooni anda. Hmm. Ma teen seda ise liiga tihti

Minu arvamus: Teine osa oli juba parem. Tegelased olid paremini välja joonistatud, kuigi Sadie ja Anubise mingi flirt/teismelise armulugu on endiselt minu jaoks võõristav. Lõpp jäi lahtiseks nagu Riordanil ikka- tegelikult ta oskab lugejaid konksu külge haarata- seda peaks talt õppima.

Minu arvamus: Percy Jacksoni sarja viimane osa.. jk, Riordan jätkab selle sarja lüpsmist aina edasi mingite lisaraamatutega, mida mina ei kavatse lugeda. V.a need kaks, kus ta Kreeka ja Egiptuse jumalad kombineerib. See tundub äge.
Raamatust endast- ootasin paremat. Paremat lõppu eepilisele sarjale. Aga noh, selline tüüpiline õnnelik lõpp, mis tundub ühest otsas armas ja paneb naeratama, teisest otsast frusteerivalt tavaline.

Minu arvamus: Kõigepealt lugesin ma eestikeelset. Siis nägin filmi. Ja nüüd siis originaal. Ma pean ausalt ütlema, et tõlge oli seekord eesti keelsel nauditavam. Aga ma lugesin seda ingliskeeles vaid seetõttu, et ma end järgedesse sisse elaks. Saab vähemalt teada, mis seal edasi juhtuma hakkab.

Minu arvamus: Ma hakkasin mõtlema, et see sari tervikuna on üsna nõrk. Kirjutamisviis ja lugeja haaramine on meisterlik, samuti on tegelased üsna mitmetahulised (v.a kui mulle ette öeldakse, mida Thomas kellegi kohta tunneb või noh, sunnitakse nagu tegelased kokku kohati), aga mis mulle ei meeldinud, oli maailm ise. Kui neil on juba nii suur organisatsioon nagu WICKED, siis on raske uskuda, et nad ei tapa neid tüüpe, kes on juba pöördumatult haigeid, vaid jätavad nad lihtsalt kuskile mahajäetud linna märatsema. Täiesti loogiline samm oleks tappa need, kes on juba segased. Nagu see valitsuse ülesehitus on minu jaoks liialt ebaloogiline. See lõpp

Minu arvamus: Ma ei tea, mis mind sundis selle läbi lugema- vb ma tahtsin teda, kuidas see ikkagi lõppeb. Ei jäänud rahule. Väga võõras keelekasutus- selle asemel, et seda indiapäraseks liigitada, kardan et kivi tuleb visata hoopis tõlkijate kapsaaeda.  India mütoloogia on üsna keeruline ja veel keerulistemate nimedega ja väga raske oli jälgida teksti, kuina sealt tulev infotulv oli meeletu. India inimestele kindlasti meeldib see raamat.

Tutvustus:Doktor Louis Creedi silmad ja sisetunne kinnitasid, et maja on igati sobiv.
Ruumikas, vanamoodne, ajahambast puretud ja õdus. Õige koht, kus pere võiks eladada, lapsed suureks sirguda, mängida ja maailma avastada. Maine’i lauged künkad ja niidud tundusid Chicago tossupilvedesse peidetud linnaohtudega võrreldes justkui teine maailm.
Ainsaks ohumärgiks oli kaherealisel maanteel tihedalt voorivate suurte veoautode müra, kui masinad kihutasid, gaas põhjas, mööda pikka sirget teelõiku.
Aga maja taga, maanteest kaugel eemal: seal oli ohutu. Vaid üks hoolikalt niidetud jalgrada lookles sügavamale metsa ja seda teed olid käinud mitmed põlvkonnad kohalikke lapsi siira härdusega , et sängitada mulda armastatud lemmikloomade maised jäänused.
Too koht võis olla ehk rusuv, kuid turvaline. Kindlasti täiesti ohutu. Mitte mingil juhul ei saanud see paik hiilida su unenägudesse, äratada sind keset ööd, nahk kaetud higiga ja südames õud.

Minu arvamus: Film, mis tekitas mulle lapsepõlvetrauma Raamat ise on üsna masendav ja morbiidne (pean silmas eelkõige matuste osa, kuid asi võis ka minus olla, kuna ma just hiljuti käisin ühtedel matustel) ja väga heasti kirjutatud. Minu jaoks Kingi kõige parem raamat, kuna seal ei ole seda esiletungivad ameerikalikust ja filmilikust, mis tal uuema aja omadel kipuvad olema. Pluss ta oskab aeglaselt aga järjekindlalt pinget üles kruvida. Mis ma oskan öelda- tekitas tugevaid emotsioone.

Surm on mu lemmiktegelane pärast nõid Tiffanyt. Aa, ja eestikeelne tõlge meeldib mulle rohkem. Ingliskeeles lugedes lähevad paljud naljad ja sõnamängud kaduma, kuna ma lihtsalt ei taju neid.

Minu arvamus:  Noh jah... mis võiks olla parem kui etteaimatav lõpp, eks ole? Samas selle Kane triloogia kõige parem raamat. Punktid lähevad maha sellepräast, et lõpp oli liiga ideaalne. Tegelased said lõpuks terviklikus ja neid oli hea lugeda- varem olid nad liialt kaootilised.

Minu arvamus: Siit kumab läbi, et tegu on naiskirjanikuga. Meestegelased on ilusad ja veidi kauged, sellised kellest unistada, ja samas käituvad suht sitapeana- ja nad on üsna nõrgalt kirjutatud. Naistegelased on tugevad ja iseseisvad.
Aga lugu on hea. Mulle meeldib isegi. Korraks suutis armukolmnurk isegi mind õhevile ajada- ma ei mäelta, millal mind tegelaste armumised oleksid varem huvitanud. Aa, Simon on niiii tore tegelane. I like him.

Minu arvamus: Igasugune plot Simoniga oli seekord üllatv ja ootamatu. Mulle meeldib, kui raamatus ei saa ette ennustada, mis nüüd juhtuma hakkab. Mis vell.. põnev raamat, kuigi mõne koha peal tekib küsimus, miks ta nii teeb. Neile miksidele saab ka enamjaolt vastuse.
Lõpp oli kahetine- See, et Valentine minema pääses, ei üllata vast kedagi ja pole mingi spoiler ja. Lahendus Simoni ja Jace-iga oli üsna.. ettearvamatu. Mõneti.

Minu arvamus: Noh jah... Pöördeid seal plotis igaljuhul leidus. Muide endiselt on kõik kutid peategelase ümber hot as fuck. Milelgipärast see häirib mind, kuid samas köidab. Mis teha, mulle meeldivad sellised meestegelased, kes on sellised veidi külmad ja eemalolevad, aga samas seest pehmekesed. Ma ei saa seda eitada Aga loost ise- Valentine saatus oli üsna üllatav,või noh, tema karakteri lõpplahendus, ütleme nii. Veidi jäi eelmisele raaamatule alla.
